It’s that time again! This week has flown by (thankfully). I’ve got so many project whirling around my head that the weekend can’t come fast enough.
This week it has become apparent that a lot of people were born in May! In our office we have four birthdays and it’s been handed over to me to search out gifts for them.
I love finding gifts for people. I have always had this ability to remember things about people and am quite observant (sounds a bit creepy, but I assure you it’s not!) With this ability I have always found it so rewarding to find people gifts that they like! I’m quite good at it, not to blow my own trumpet!
Anyway this week I’ve been inspired by all the wonderful birthday crafts I’ve stumbled across on this journey of gift finding and I thought today I’d share some of those finds. I have narrowed it down to three things that I particularly liked and I hope you can find inspiration in them to.
As always you can click on the images to take you to the tutorials.
1// DIY Party Hats
Why buy pre-made party hats when you can find inspiration from these? All you need is some nice paper, a template and some embellishments. I love the flower ones!
2// DIY Paper Garlands
These are brilliant. They look polished and stray away from the more tacky decorations you often get in stores. All you need is some paper and maybe some tutorials, of which there are lots on Pinterest!
3// Smarten up your balloons!
I adore the cake topper balloons.
All these ideas are really cheap, really simple but just that extra to the party decor that will make it stand out from the rest.
Parties, especially birthday parties, are always best with a personal touch and the decorations really get people excited and in the party mood. It’s so worth spending the extra time on little things like these ideas.
