Tutorial ~ Potato stamp part 2: Wine box shelf!

Hi all,

So I was going to do the second part of the potato stamp post over the weekend but we got nominated for a Liebster Award, which is awesome and obviously took precedent, and also I was shattered! Had to have a two hour nap on Saturday afternoon!

However I spent Sunday morning completing my ‘craft room organising’ project, which meant finishing up my potato print paper and decorating my wine boxes. It took a bit of time but everything is up and tidied and off my dining room floor (almost)!

This is what went down!

What I used:

  • paint
  • potato stamp
  • plastic plate (for paint)
  • scissors
  • paper
  • pencil

1// My idea was to design a patterned paper to line my wine boxes, using my potato stamps. I measured how big the inside of the box was and cut the paper to match those measurements:

I had 8 wine boxes so I cut out 8 pieces of paper.

2// I used my plate, paint and potato stamps and designed some patterns on each piece of paper:

Aww pretty.

3// I then used glue and lined them in the wine boxes:

Ooo clever!

4// I stacked them up to make my shelf for my craft room:

Ta da! Easy as!

I have to say that it’s nice to finally have everything organised!

Take care,

E x
